Gratitude Is a Healthy Attitude

Why do we celebrate things like Thanksgiving?


Because, it is good to be thankful for the things we experience (not things we possess). Even when the lessons life teaches us are hard, we can grow and learn. It is important to be thankful for family, friends and peace. 


Gratitude, or being thankful in the moment, is important for grounding us to the present time.  Living in the future or dwelling on the past keeps our focus from things that really matter.
